Your First Synergy Tattoo Visit: Age, ID and Planning Checklist
For your first tattoo visit at Synergy Tattoo Studio, confirm that you meet the studio's 18+ requirement, bring a valid state-issued photo ID or passport, and check whether you have booked a consultation or a tattoo appointment. Confirm the age requirement and bring valid ID
Synergy's policy is 18 and older; the studio does not tattoo anyone under 18. It requires a valid state-issued photo ID or passport.
Check your identification before your visit so you know you have the required document available. If you are unsure whether the identification you have meets the stated requirement, ask the studio before coming in rather than assuming a different document will be accepted.
Know which kind of visit you have booked
A consultation is a free in-person discussion of your idea. Booking one does not book the tattoo appointment, which is scheduled separately after the consultation. You also do not need to choose an artist before booking the consultation.

Give your tattoo idea a clear starting point
Put your references in one easy-to-find place and write down four basics:
The subject or idea you want to discuss.
The style or visual qualities you like.
Where you want the tattoo placed.
The approximate size you have in mind.
For each reference, note what appeals to you. It might be the subject in one image and the arrangement in another. Separate details you feel strongly about from decisions where you welcome input.
If the idea includes names, dates or other exact text, check your intended wording before the conversation. Bring the questions you have not answered, too. An unfinished idea can still be explained clearly.
Plan for the deposit and cash payment
Synergy requires a $100 non-refundable cash deposit for a tattoo appointment, applied to the tattoo cost. All deposits and services are cash only. Pricing is discussed in person and depends on the project, so do not treat the deposit amount as the full price of the tattoo.
Gather the essentials before heading out
Have your required ID, booking details, references and questions ready. Confirm the address and leave time for the trip. For any project-specific instructions, ask the studio directly rather than relying on a generic checklist.
Your first visit does not require a perfectly finished concept. A clear starting point and an understanding of the studio's process will help you use the conversation well.
